The day was humid in the Florida sun, and the air smelled clean and refreshing. The weather forecast called for a slight humidity and warm temperature of eighty-five degrees.  It was the middle of May, and school was over for the year in a week.  Chris looked forward the days spent at the beach and hanging out with friends.  Weeks before he had set plans to travel to Coco Beach and get a tan, and look at cute guys with their ripped toned and tan abs.  I even tagged along the idea to Bryce, minus the part about looking at guys in such a sexual or lustful manor. 

In a chat room that was geared to the GBLT Teens and questions they were hosted moderators to confront touchy issues with homosexuality. It was not long after getting advice from other people that he told his parents that he was interested in guys. His mom only smiled and laughed at the idea and told him that he does not know what he wants, his dad rejected the idea and told him that he did not raise a fag or a son who wanted to be fucked rather then fuck a girl.

His mother ask his to seek help from a psychologist to deal with such an ill perverted mind.  The psychologist spoke to Chris about was only able to give him the advise of being the person he is and not what others what him to be. During his spring football season he found himself a girlfriend, Amanda. She was a short and beautiful girl with long blonde hair, they meet when his practice was shared on the same field that her Lacrosse practice was on. He approached him and asked if he was Offensive line, and if he had a girlfriend. 

Chris was not love struck but had an attraction to her.  He would watch her play and would have come up with the conclusion that this is what love was like. He would wait for her to finish practice and ask her out.  It was easy with no fear of rejection, or having butterflies in his stomach. He smiled when she told him yes, and thought that he was normal now.

Everything was going for him and he seemed to be on the right path.  Three weeks into the relationship and two months before end of the year of school she was caught cheating on him with another football player.  He ended it with her soon after.
